i recently invested into a Canon 5dmk2 and wow! what took so long for me to pull the trigger on it? build quality is great. it has a solid feel to it. hand grip is sweet but i still need to add a Canon BG-E6 vertical grip to it, i dont like it when my pinkie goes under the body of the camera.
image quality is SHARP! in my opinion, i think it’s a whole lot better than the mk1. the shutter sound is pretty quiet, which is nice.
some cool features about the camera:
- it takes the same battery as the Canon 7d, LP-E6 which is handy
- auto/manual audio control for video
- record button is easier to access than the 7d, for me.
i’ve only had the camera for a few hours now but i am pretty impressed with it.
images to follow…

i’ve been going through a lot of business cards lately and i thought it was a good time for a change of style. i went with a local company, Cleanwashletterpress to press the cards for me. they did a great job! actually, they did an amazing job! i owe it all to Lisa Hoover, she’s practically a sister to me.

Che had asked me a few months ago to photograph his wedding. it was a great privilege to photograph it because he is a pretty good photographer himself. i’ve learned a lot from him and he critiques all of my work, so to photograph his wedding day, it was an honor for me.
here are some sneak peeks from the day. congrats to myong & che!
